ACA has been extremely supportive of centres during the COVID-19 crisis. Without ACA advocating for ECEC more centres would have shut down. You could see how much they cared and fought for the industry and centres.

The experience was both inspiring and enriching, as I listened to a range of insightful guest and keynote speakers and engaged in hands on workshops that deepened my understanding and passion for early childhood education. Since only recently joining ACA Qld, I have learnt so much more and have ways to provide better for my service. Brent has been amazing with the webinars lately with all the changes with COVID-19.

Our centre changed to ACA Qld after the service we had employed diversified and became more generalised. I looked for a representative that was early years specific and found Australian Childcare Alliance Queensland. I thought ACA was for private centres only but I was very pleased to discover that ACA represented not for profit centres as well. The best move for our centre in a long time and at half the cost. Brent is a skilled communicator and his passion for the sector is very evident. He has supported us through some difficult decisions and his knowledge has proved invaluable.

As an independent service, we have been a member of ACA for over five years and during this time we have found ACA Qld to be a valuable support tool in navigating our way through the day to day challenges that we face within the ECEC sector. No childcare service should be without a full membership to ACA. Not only are they there to support you with resources/training but you are dealing directly with people who have childcare knowledge and have managed their own services. This gives you confidence in the advice and information you receive.

I love the industry updates. The updates keep me informed and makes it much easier so I don't have to google / search for it all. I like the opportunities for PD and networking.

The value of a peak representative body for our sector to work with government and lobby for the rights of families, children and operators cannot be underrated. The ACA membership includes Employer Services access, which is worth the membership fees in their own right! No independent childcare operator can afford not to be a part of ACA.

It's comforting to know that there is a team who are always ready to research and have answers to the crazy life of the early childhood sector. At times when it is hard to get a firm grasp on changes and new requirements, I can always be reassured by the fact that there is somebody else getting the right interpretations and passing them on! ACA Qld is one of my top sources of staying on top of information.

ACA assists with providing updated information and sorting through all the important information provided by multiple sources. ACA elevates pressure, provides the direct info we need and provides support on critical industry requirements.

I love that ACA keeps us updated with all changes in policy and they are a great support to centres both in good times and when things are a little difficult.
